Root Clipping for Curly Hair: Small Clips, Bigger Volume

Use strategic clip placement to lift the roots while your hair dries. Root clipping is the easiest way to prevent “flat head” and ensure your curls have volume from the very top.

How to Clip

Insert small metal or plastic clips at the root, perpendicular to the scalp, while the hair is still wet. This lifts the hair away from the scalp, allowing air to circulate and the curls to dry in an upright position. Once the hair is dry, remove the clips and gently fluff your roots for a voluminous, natural finish.
